Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary came off a 16-day break as they faced the Pacers of Marywood University.
Ryan Graham was the first player to get the Knights on the board as he responded to the Pacers with a three-ball of his own. The Mount found themselves down 14-6 before
Connor Cyran began to heat up in the first half. He went on to score the next 10 points for Mount Saint Mary, tying the game up 16-16 with 10:38 remaining in the half. The Knights took a short-lived lead before going on a four-minute scoreless run. They shot 50% from three during the first 20 minutes, which was one of their better halves on the season, but they would have to do better than 0-3 from the free-throw line if they were to win this one.
The Knights were down at the beginning of the second, yet were still able to hang around after being down nine as a
Ben Toussaint three-pointer cut their deficit to just four. Mount Saint Mary was down by only seven points at the 11:57 mark but from here, things began to go south. A 13-2 run from Marywood put them up by 18 points only a few minutes later. The Pacers led by as much as 33 in the second half as they caught fire on offense. It was a tale of two stories from the charity stripe as the Mount struggled shooting only 5-12, while Marywood converted 16-21. The Knights would lose this match to the Pacers 89-64.
