Bronxville, NY- The Mount Saint Mary College Knights (3-12, 1-5 Skyline) suffered a tough 73-77 loss on the road against the Sarah Lawrence Gryphons (6-9, 3-3 Skyline) on Wednesday night. Despite a valiant effort throughout the game, the Knights ultimately couldn't overcome key mistakes in crucial situations, as head coach Ryan Kadlubowski lamented, "Tough loss on the road, we played with good effort from the start. We just made a few too many mistakes in key situations and that was the difference in the game tonight."

The game was a tight affair from the outset, with both teams exchanging leads 14 times throughout the contest. Connor Cyran led the Knights' charge with a game-high 20 points, knocking down five of seven free throws. Ryan Graham chipped in with 12 points and three three-pointers of his own, while Jayden Figueroa contributed 11 points and 9 rebounds.

"Despite the loss, there were a lot of positives to take away from this game," Coach Kadlubowski continued. "Our guys played hard and never gave up. We just need to clean up some of our execution down the stretch and we'll start getting rewarded for our efforts."

The Knights will look to bounce back from this defeat when they return home on Saturday to face the University of Mount Saint Vincent at 2 PM. Their hopes of turning their season around hinge on minimizing mistakes and capitalizing on scoring opportunities.
