Utica, NY- In the first of two long away trips this week, the Mount Saint Mary's Men's Soccer team traveled north to central New York. The SUNY Poly Wildcats played host tonight to the Knights, who were coming off a tie vs Yeshiva University over the weekend.
The Wildcats went on a strong attack, putting 4 shots at the goal in the first five minutes, and scoring in the 6
th minute. The Knights
Jake Kwong was able to get the first Mount Saint Mary shot in the 24
th minute, unfortunately off frame.
Goalie,
Caesar Martinez saw a total of 19 shots throughout the game, most of which were off target (11). SUNY Poly was able to find the net two more times before the final whistle was able to blow.
Mount Saint Mary will look to regroup and prepare for their upcoming match this weekend against SUNY Geneseo on Saturday.
