Bronx, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Softball team closed out the regular season in impressive fashion Sunday afternoon, cruising to 18-0 and 13-0 victories at Yeshiva.
Bridget Morris (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and
Dana Donnelly (Yulan, N.Y.) combined for a perfect game in the opener with
Olivia Ferara (Middletown, N.Y.) recording her 100
th career hit.

Mount Saint Mary finishes the 2023 regular season at 19-17 overall and 12-6 in conference play, while Yeshiva ends its season at 2-29 overall and 0-18 against conference opponents.

How It Happened
- The Knights broke game one open earlier with eight runs in the first inning and six more tallies in the second.
- Samantha Bendig (Tampa, Fla.) opened the scoring with a run scoring double with Ferara driving in two runs with a double.
- Bendig picked up her second run scoring double of the inning to finish off the scoring in the opening frame.
- Ferara picked up a run scoring double in the second with Bendig lacing her third RBI double of the game to make the score 12-0.
- Riley Senk (Staten Island, N.Y.) drove in a run with a single to close out the scoring in the second inning.
- A three-run third inning was highlighted by a second run scoring single from Senk that made the score 17-0.
- Ava Rigano (Franklin Square, N.Y.) delivered the Mount's final run with a two-out single that pushed home Dylan Lane (Red Hook, N.Y.).

How It Happened
- The Knights did all the damage it would need in game two, plating eight runs in their first at-bat.
- Bendig highlighted the big first inning and closed out the scoring in the frame with a two-run single with two outs in the inning.
- The Mount put two more runs on the board in the second inning thanks to a two-run single from Grace MacDonald (Concord, N.H.).
- Two more runs came home in the fourth inning thanks to RBI singles from Jenna Cedeno (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Rigano that made the score 12-0 in favor of the Knights.
- The Mount's final run was delivered in the fifth when Gannon singled home Lane.
