Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Lacrosse team will play its first game in the Skyline Conference Championship since 2018 on Tuesday night when it heads to regular season champion and top-seed Maritime. The Knights are Privateers will face-off at 7:00 p.m. with Live Stats and Video available for those unable to attend.
At A Glance: The Knights clinched their first berth into the conference championship since 2018 on Saturday with a 16-9 home victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent. The Mount finished off the 2023 regular season with a 5-7 overall record and a 4-3 mark against Skyline Conference opponents.

Mike Travers (Staten Island, N.Y.) enters Tuesday's contest as the team's leader in goals (23), assists (13) and points (36) while adding 21 groundballs and a pair of caused turnovers.
Maxwell Green Wright (Central Islip, N.Y.) enters the league tournament with 18 goals and 29 points to go along with 22 groundballs and six forced turnovers.

Larry Frank (Staten Island, N.Y.) supporting the offense with 14 goals and 25 points. Coming off a career-high seven-point performance on Saturday against Mount Saint Vincent,
Ryan Olmstead (Millbrook, N.Y.) has registered 12 goals and 19 points to go along with 30 groundballs and six caused turnovers.
Joseph Angelillo (Pompton Plains, N.J.) holds the team lead in caused turnovers and groundballs for the Knights with 22 and 49, respectively, while chipping in a pair of goals and an assist.
Matthew Esposito (Manorville, N.Y.) has forced 14 miscues and collected 26 groundballs for the Mount with
Tim Doyle (Selden, N.Y.) and
Carmine Comitini (Staten Island, N.Y.) each causing 13 turnovers.
Anthony Paggiotta (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) is coming off a career-high 16 face-off wins against Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday and leads the Knights in the category with 104 on the season to go along with 43 groundballs.
Kenny Leen (Miller Place, N.Y.), who collected his second Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week honor earlier on Tuesday, has manned the goal in 2023 for the Knights. In 12 starts, Leen has stopped 169 shots and is working to a .558 save percentage and an 11.09 goals against average.
Leen has stopped at least 12 shots in each of the Mount's last nine games and enters Tuesday's tilt ranked second in the conference in saves per game (14.08), third in total saves, fourth in save percentage and fifth in goals against average.
Scouting The Privateers: After starting the season at 1-5, Maritime has ripped off 11 straight victories and enters Tuesday's semifinal at 12-5 overall following a perfect 7-0 record in conference play. Maritime is searching for its fourth straight conference crown and berth into the NCAA Tournament.
Parker Reilly leads a potent offensive attack for the Privateers with 46 goals to go along with 17 assists for 63 points. Connor Tomich leads the team with 35 assists and 72 points through the regular season while Charles Longo checks in with 42 points on the strength of 25 goals and 17 helpers.
Keiran Hendry sits atop the team leaderboard with 32 caused turnovers to go along with 72 groundballs, while Matthew Weigand paces the Privateers with 93 groundballs while adding 27 forced miscues. Joseph Bruno has won 174 face-offs to date for Maritime and collected 73 groundballs.
In goal, Ben McGrady has started 16 games and played 770:21 of a possible 1020:00 coming into Tuesday's semifinal. McGrady has stopped 165 shots while posting a .575 save percentage and a 9.50 goals against average. McGrady currently ranks just behind Leen in the conference rankings in total saves and sits third in both goals against average and save percentage and sixth in saves per game (10.31).
Regular Season Meeting: The two sides met just last week in Newburgh with Maritime scoring a hard fought 12-6 victory on April 26.
Rodriguez finished the night with three points for the Mount, scoring twice, with Green Wright adding a pair of goals. Olmstead finished the contest with a pair of assists for the Knights.
Dennis Dowd (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) rounded out the tilt with five caused turnovers for the Mount while Leen turned aside 17 shots in goal.
Tomich posted a game-high six points for the Privateers, scoring twice and assisting on four goals, and was one of four Privateers with multiple goals in the game. Tomich finished off a strong all-around night with seven groundballs and three caused turnovers.
Bruno won 12 face-offs for the Privateers with McGrady stopping eight shots in goal in just over 55 minutes of work.
Recent History: Including last week's result, Maritime has won four straight decisions in the head-to-head series and nine of the 13 meetings since the start of the 2011 season. The Mount's last win against Maritime came in a 14-13 overtime thriller in the Semifinal Round of the 2018 Skyline Conference Championship.
Recent Skyline Conference Championship History: Mount Saint Mary will make just its third appearance in the Skyline Conference Championship in program history when it takes on Maritime Tuesday night.
The Knights made back-to-back appearances in the conference championship in 2017 and 2018, winning is first game in the event in the aforementioned overtime win at Maritime in 2018. The Knights are 1-2 all-time in games as part of the conference championship and will look to make their second appearance in the Championship Final with a win on Tuesday.
Mount Saint Mary and Maritime will meet for the second time in the conference championship with the 2018 semifinal marking the only other matchup in the league tournament.
What's At Stake: The winner of Tuesday's semifinal will take on the winner of the Farmingdale State and USMMA contest on Friday for the right to represent the conference in the NCAA Tournament.
