Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Baseball team continued Skyline Conference play on Monday, falling to the College of Mount Saint Vincent in a doubleheader by scores of 10-0 and 17-6. 
Cullen Roper (Stratford, Conn.) and 
Anthony Franco (Franklin Square, N.Y.) each homered in game two and the Mount Saint Mary defense produced a triple play in the second inning of the night cap.
 
Monday's sweep drops Mount Saint Mary to 5-15 overall on the season and to 2-4 in conference play, while Mount Saint Vincent improves to 12-8 overall and 5-0 in Skyline Conference competition.
 
Game 1: Mount Saint Vincent 10 – Mount Saint Mary 0 
How It Happened  
	- The Dolphins jumped out to a quick 4-0 with three unearned runs in the top of the first inning.
 
	- Mount Saint Vincent recorded three hits in the inning and took advantage of an error in the frame.
 
	- Eric Zimmermann drove in a run with a groundout in the inning with Engers Marte pushing in a run with an infield single with two outs in the inning.
 
	- Mount Saint Vincent added a run in the second on a Zimmermann run scoring single before breaking the game open with three more runs in the fifth and a pair of tallies in the sixth.
 
	- Marte and Joey DiNorcia doubled in runs in the fifth ahead of a Johnny Brucato single in the.
 
	- The two-run sixth featured run scoring singles from Jake Pierre and Jason Albert.
 
 
For The Knights 
	- Mount Saint Mary was limited to three hits in the game.
 
	- Aidan Marshall (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) and Franco each singled for the Mount.
 
	- Devin Tait (Staten Island, N.Y.) added a double in the seventh for the Knights.
 
	- Liam Horan (Stony Point, N.Y.) allowed just one earned run in 5.0 innings and picked up eight strikeouts.
 
 
Game 2: Mount Saint Vincent 17 – Mount Saint Mary 6
How It Happened 
	- Mount Saint Vincent jumped out in front early again in game two, scoring five runs on five hits while taking advantage of two errors in the first.
 
	- Albert doubled home a run in the inning ahead of a two-run single from Marte.
 
	- Trailing 5-0 in the second with runners on first and second and no one out, Mike Scotto got Drew Knight to hit a soft liner to short with the runners in motion. Tait snared the line drive and picked off both base runners for the triple play.
 
	- The Dolphins spread their lead to 7-0 with single runs in the third and fifth frames before a furious comeback from the Knights to pull to within 7-6.
 
	- With runners on the corners and one out, Tyler Crocitto (Staten Island, N.Y.) delivered the Knights' first run with a single through the left side.
 
	- Roper followed with a three-run shot to left center to bring the Knights to within 7-4 through five innings.
 
	- Mount Saint Mary continued its comeback in the sixth when Shane Finch (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) singled to lead off the inning and Franco cleared the bases with a line drive home run to left center field to get the Knights to within a run.
 
	- Mount Saint Mary later put the tying and go ahead runs in scoring position, but Aidan Rice was able to keep the Mount off the board and preserve the one-run lead for the visitors.
 
	- Mount Saint Vincent went on to erupt for 10 runs over its final three at-bats to complete the sweep.
 
	- Marte clubbed a three-run home run in the seventh with Pierre driving in two runs with a single in the eighth.
 
	- Zimmermann closed out a 6-for-6 game two with an RBI single in the top of the ninth for the Dolphins.
 
 
For The Knights 
	- After being held to three hits in the opener, Mount Saint Mary pounded out 10 hits in game two.
 
	- Goodwin and Adam Leone (Wallingford, Conn.) each recorded two hits with Leone scoring a run.
 
	- Roper homered and drove in three runs.
 
	- Franco homered and posted a pair of RBI.
 
	- Finch, Liam Merlin (Reading, Mass.) and Crocitto each finished with a hit and a run scored.
 
	- Mike Scotto (Putnam, N.Y.) suffered the loss on the mound, striking out one in 3.0 innings of work.
