Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary Women's Lacrosse team clinched a berth in the Skyline Conference Championship Saturday afternoon after defeating Old Westbury 11-2 in their regular season finale. The Knights had a balanced offensive attack, with four different players scoring multiple goals on the day.
Erica Schmidgall (Farmingdale, N.Y) led the way offensively totaling a game high five points and
Karlie Ferrucci (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) tallied three goals and one assist.
Saturday's victory pushes the Knights to 6-10 overall and 3-5 in conference play while Old Westbury finishes their season at 2-9 overall and 1-7 in Skyline competition.

- The first quarter was all Mount Saint Mary, outscoring Old Westbury 4-0 in the frame.
