Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Lacrosse team concludes the regular season this week when it welcomes league rivals Maritime and the College of Mount Saint Vincent to Kaplan Field. The Knights and Privateers square-off Wednesday night ahead of the regular season finale with the Dolphins Saturday afternoon. The Knights start play on Wednesday with a 4-6 overall record and a 2-2 mark against league rivals.
Mike Travers (Staten Island, N.Y.) sits atop the team leaderboard in goals with 20 and points with 30, adding 17 groundballs.
Larry Frank (Staten Island, N.Y.) paces the Mount with 11 assists and has totaled 22 points with

Joseph Angelillo (Pompton Plains, N.J.) leads the way for the Mount on defense with 18 caused turnovers and 40 groundballs, while
Carmine Comitini (Staten Island, N.Y.) adds 12 forced miscues and 24 groundballs.
Tim Doyle (Selden, N.Y.) has also forced 12 miscues for the Mount and scooped 25 groundballs.
Anthony Pagiotta (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) has won 81 face-offs to date for the Mount and ranks second on the team with 32 groundballs.
Matthew Esposito (Manorville, N.Y.) checks in with 11 caused turnovers for the Knights and 19 groundballs.
In goal, freshman
Kenny Leen (Miller Place, N.Y.) has put together a strong season, making 140 saves while posting a .553 save percentage and a 11.20 goals against average. Leen begins the week fourth in the conference in save percentage, fifth in goals against average and second in saves per game.
Scouting Maritime: The Privateers, who were selected to win their fourth straight Skyline Conference Championship by the league's coaches, come to town on Wednesday winners of 10 straight games and with an 11-5 overall record and an unblemished 6-0 mark against league rivals.
A potent offensive attack features a pair of players with 60 points on the season, led by 66 from Connor Tomich who paces the team with 31 assists while adding 35 goals and 21 groundballs. Parker Reilly has totaled an even 60 points on the strength of 44 goals and 16 assists, chipping in 31 groundballs and 12 caused turnovers. Chalres Longo supports the offense with 23 goals and 39 points.
Joseph Bruno leads the team with 162 face-off wins and has grabbed 67 groundballs with Matthew Winegand pacing the team in groundballs with 87 while forcing 25 miscues. Kieran Hendry has collected 69 groundballs for Maritime and caused a team-high 30 turnovers.
Ben McGrady has started 15 games in goal for Maritime and played 715:08 of a possible 960:00 to date. McGrady has made 157 total saves while working to a .573 save percentage and a 9.82 goals against average. McGrady ranks third in the conference in save percentage and goals against average and sixth in saves per game.
Recent History: Since 2011, the Mount and Maritime have played 12 times prior to Wednesday with the Privateers recording eight victories. Maritime has won the last three decisions, with the Mount's last win coming in a 14-13 overtime thriller in the 2018 Skyline Conference Championship Semifinal.
A Look At Mount Saint Vincent: The Dolphins come calling on Saturday having dropped their last seven decisions and with a 4-10 overall record and an 0-6 mark against league rivals. Mount Saint Vincent last won on March 27 and is coming off a 23-8 loss to Manhattanville on Tuesday.
Andrew Dzubak paces the offense for the Dolphins, totaling 55 points on 39 goals and 16 assists to go along with 49 groundballs. Richie Albert checks in 24 goals and 38 points to go along with 34 groundballs while Jacob Cochran contributes 20 goals and 30 points. Cochran leads Mount Saint Vincent with 67 groundballs and is second on the team with 22 caused turnovers.
Brian Valera has won a team-high 105 face-offs and collected 34 groundballs with Adrian Guillermo pacing the team with 27 forced miscues to go along with 46 groundballs.
Sawyer Davis has started all 14 games in goal for the Dolphins and has turned aside 178 shots while posting a .485 save percentage and a 16.15 goals against average. Davis leads the Skyline Conference in total saves heading into the final week of the regular season.
Recent History: Since 2010, the Knights and Dolphins have played 11 times with Mount Saint Mary dominating the head-to-head series 9-2. After falling to the Dolphins in its first two varsity season, 2010 and 2011, the Mount has won each of the last nine decisions.
