Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Basketball team finds itself within the first public regional rankings released by the NCAA. The initial release is an unranked list of the top teams in each region as seen by the NCAA Basketball Committee.
 
Mount Saint Mary is one of seven teams to be listed in Region III, joined by Skyline Conference rival USMMA and non-conference opponent New Paltz. Cortland, Ithaca, Rochester and St. John Fisher are the other four teams to appear on the initial list.
 
The first true rankings will be released next week. At 15-4 overall, Mount Saint Mary is in action Wednesday evening at home against Manhattanville.
