Bronx, NY – In a very close volleyball match, the Mount Saint Mary College Knights secured a hard-fought victory against CMSV, with a final score of 3-2 (25-21, 15-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-12).
The Knights, ultimately clinched the win in the fifth set.
Jonaiya Williams led the way with an impressive 23 kills, well-supported by
Erin Lema, who contributed 15 kills.

Vanessa Mleczko had great nights serving for the Knights, combining for 11 aces. Defensively, Brooke Levelle had 3 blocks and
Mackenzie Warmoth had 2.
Aubriana Boyce had a big night providing 40 assists to the team. Mleczko, Williams, and Lema, worked together and had a total 42 digs.
Notably, this nail-biting victory propels the Mount Saint Mary College Knights to a 5-4 record in the Skyline conference, which is coming down to the last few games to decide who moves on to playoffs.
Their next challenge lies ahead as they gear up to face Saint Joseph's University Brooklyn on Thursday at 7:00 pm. Moreover, it's a special evening as it marks the Knights' Senior Night, providing an extra layer of motivation for the team.
