Newburgh, N.Y. – Coming off an impressive 5-0 road win at Maritime on Saturday, the Mount Saint Mary College Men's Soccer team looks to improve its conference standing with a pair of league contests this week. The Mount travels to Sarah Lawrence for a Tuesday night tilt with the Gryphons before playing host to Farmingdale State Saturday afternoon.
At A Glance: The Knights open the week with a 3-4-2 overall record and a 1-1-1 mark in conference play following a 1-1 draw with the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday and the aforementioned road win at Maritime Saturday night.
Seven different Knights have scored a goal through nine contests with
Matt Wyant (Beacon, N.Y.) leading the scoring attack with three goals, four assists and 10 points. Wyant scored the game winning goal at Maritime and paces the Knights with 30 shots, including 16 on goal.
Connor Doyle (New Windsor, N.Y.) found the scoring column for the first time in 2022 in Saturday's win and joins
Christopher Maggi (Franklin Square, N.Y.) with a goal and an assist on the season. Maggi and
Marco Mazzarelli (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) join Wyant with game winning goals on the season.

Caesar Martinez (Lake Katrine, N.Y.) has started all nine games to date and has made 39 saves for the Knights. Martinez has recorded four shutouts in the season's first nine games and is sporting a 1.33 goals against average and a .765 save percentage.
Last Time Out: After being held to one or no goals over the first eight games of the season, the Knights' offense erupted for five tallies on Saturday against the Privateers.
Four different players scored for the Mount, led by two goals and two assists from Wyant. Doyle finished the win with a goal and an assist with
Peter Ramirez (New Windsor, N.Y.) and Geancarlo Esoinoza (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) also finding the back of the net.
Martinez picked up his fourth clean sheet of the season with four saves in goal for the Knights.

Nicholas Fajardo leads the scoring attack for the Gryphons with six goals and 14 points, with Aidan Roney supporting the offense with three goals and eight points. Leon Bronshvag and Jason Ciron join Fajardo and Roney as the team leaders in assists with two.
In goal, Kian Silva has started all eight games to date and has stopped 52 shots. He has one shutout on the season and holds a 1.63 goals against average and a .800 save percentage.
