New York, N.Y. – In the final weekly report of the season, Mount Saint Mary College graduate student
Morina Bojka (Prospect, Conn.) earned her fourth Skyline Conference Player of the Week Award it was announced on Monday afternoon.
Bojka, who was also named the league's Player of the Week on November 22, January 10 and February 1, averaged 21.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.3 assists over three games as the Knights closed the regular season on a nine-game winning streak. Bojka shot an efficient 52.2-percent (24-for-46) from the floor and posted a 46.7-percent (7-for-15) conversion rate from three-point range.
Bojka opened the week with 21 points, five rebounds and three steals at Manhattanville and followed that up with a 17-point, five-rebound, four-assist performance in a road win at Yeshiva on Thursday night. To close the week, Bojka poured in 26 points and added eight rebounds, two assists and four steals at home against Old Westbury in her final regular season home game.
At 21-3 overall and winners of its last nine contests, Mount Saint Mary enters the 2022 Skyline Conference Championship as the top-seed after going 19-1 in league play. The Knights will return to action on Thursday in the Semifinal Round of the Championship when the
