At A Glance: The Knights enter Tuesday's contest winners of six straight and 14 of their last 15 outings overall. Following a 79-44 win over Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, the Mount enters the final week of the regular season sporting an 18-3 overall record and a 16-1 mark against conference rivals.
Morina Bojka (Prospect, Conn.) is scoring a team-high 17.9 points per game for the Knights while converting at 44.7-percent from the field. Bojka collects just over eight rebounds per contest for the Mount and is good for 2.7 assists and 2.1 steals per outing.
Katie Smith (Goshen, N.Y.) adds just over 12 points per game for the Knights, converting at just under 50-percent from the field and 37.9-percent from three-point range. Smith paces the Mount with 3.0 assists per game and contributes 2.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals per night.
Annie Keenan (Nesconset, N.Y.) cleans up a team-high 9.6 rebounds per game for the Mount, including better than three offensive caroms per outing. She supplies 7.9 points per game, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals per contest.
Lauren Desrats (Warwick, N.Y.) and
Erin Smith (Goshen, N.Y.) and good for better than eight points per game for the Mount with Desrats adding 2.0 steals and just over three rebounds. Smith is the top three-point threat for the Knights, draining 37 three-point field goals on the season.
Mount Saint Mary scores 75.5 points per game and is outscoring opponents by an average of just over 18 points per outing, both marks good for second in the Skyline Conference. The Knights shoot 39.2-percent overall, 29.7-percent from three-point, which leads the league, and 64.1-percent from the free-throw line.
Scouting The Valiants: Manhattanville begins the week with a 16-6 overall record and a 12-5 mark in Skyline Conference play. The Valiants have won their last three outings, including a 66-30 win over Old Westbury on Friday, and five of their last six overall.
Manhattanville features four players scoring in double-figures, led by Faith Johnson-DeSilvia who is good for 12.4 points per contest. DeSilvia also leads the Valiants with 3.2 assists per game and adds 5.8 rebounds and nearly two steals per outing.
Spencer Shore contributes 11.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists for Manhattanville with Niyona Smith leading the team with 7.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game to go along with 11.1 points. Ali MIkaele leads the team with 2.4 steals per night and chips in 10.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest.
Manhattanville ranks third in the Skyline Conference with 73.5 points per game and paces the league in scoring margin, winning by an average of 21 points per night. The Valiants shoot 39.3-percent from the field, 28.1-percent from three-point range and 66.6-percent from the free-throw line. Manhattanville sits atop the league leaderboard in field goal percentage defense (31.7) and three-point field goal percentage defense (21.8).
Previous Meeting: The Knights scored a 70-61 home win over the Valiants on January 20, the team's eighth straight victory at the time. The Mount shot just shy of 41-percent in the game and connected on nine triples in the victory. Bojka posted a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while K. Smith produced 14 points.
Manhattanville was limited to 33.9-percent shooting in the game and went 4-for-11 from three-point range. Johnson-DeSilvia led all scorers in the game with 23 points.
Recent History: With the win on January 20, Mount Saint Mary has won two of the last three meetings with the Valiants while Manhattanville holds a 3-2 edge in the series since the start of the 2014-15 season.
