Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team opens a four-match week Tuesday night with a home day with league rival Sarah Lawrence. The Knights continue conference play with a trip to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Thursday before traveling to Misericordia on Saturday for non-conference matches with the host Cougars and Lebanon Valley. At A Glance: Mount Saint Mary enters Tuesday's tilt with the Gryphons with a 7-10 overall record and a 2-3 mark against Skyline Conference opponents. The Knights have dropped their last six outings, including a 3-1 loss to St. Joseph's-L.I. and a straight set defeat to King's (Pa.) on Saturday at the Kaplan Center.
Grace Riddle (Wantagh, N.Y.), who was named the ECAC Metro Division Player of the Month for September, picked up a pair of career milestones on Saturday against St. Joseph's-L.I. Riddle set the program's all-time kills record and in addition became the first player in program history to amass 1,000 kills.
Riddle leads the Knights in winners through 17 matches with 222 and is good for just over four kills per set. Riddle is also the team leader with 182 digs and adds 10 total blocks and 24 service aces on the season.
Freshman
Erin Lema (Centereach, N.Y.) paces the Knights with 26 aces on the season and supports the offensive attack with 96 kills. Lema adds 122 digs and six total blocks for the Mount.

Brooke Lavelle (Staten Island, N.Y.) sits atop the team leaderboard with 16 total blocks for the Knights, while
Fran Cammarata (Carmel, N.Y.) has handed out 394 assists, good for nearly seven helpers per set. In addition to her assist total, Cammarata chips in 120 digs and is tied for third on the team with 10.0 total blocks.
Scouting Sarah Lawrence: The Gryphons come calling on Tuesday sporting a 10-8 overall record and a perfect 4-0 mark against league rivals. Sarah Lawrence has dropped its last four decisions and is in search of its first win since sweeping Maritime on October 1.
Sarah Lawrence features two players with better than 100 kills coming into Tuesday contest, led by 107 from Davis Mathis. Athena Kazos supports the offense for the Gryphons with 105 winners to date.
Mia Rector holds the team lead in both assists and service aces, handing out 347 helpers and converting 42 aces. Rector is averaging 6.94 assists per set for the Gryphons.
On the defensive side, Kallie Ferguson has lifted 257 digs, good for 5.04 per set, while Claire Mitchell has totaled a team-high 13 blocks.
Recent History: The Knights and Gryphons have squared off nine pervious times prior to Tuesday, with the Knights holding a perfect 9-0 record. The Mount has dropped just four sets during that nine-match stretch.
Previewing The Bears: St. Joseph's squares-off with the Farmingdale State on Tuesday holding a 4-8 overall record, but a 3-2 mark in conference play. The Bears have won two of their last three outings, but are coming off a straight set loss to USMMA on October 5.
Martina Urgo leads the way with 92 kills for St. Joseph's and is tied for the team lead in service aces, joining Jillian McGinty with 22 to date.
Rachel Helstin and Kaitlyn Intindola share the setting duties for the Bears with 141 and 120 assists, respectively, while Carlo Melo has lifted a team-high 208 digs, averaging nearly five per set. Ayomide Adeoye paces the Bears at the net with 18 total blocks.
Recent History: Since 2015, the Mount and St. Joseph's have played five times prior to Thursday's contest with the Knights holding an unbeaten 5-0 record. The Knights have dropped just a single set over the previous five decisions.
A Look At The Cougars: Misericordia hosts Delaware Valley on Tuesday with a 14-6 overall record and a 2-2 mark in MAC Freedom play. The Cougars have split their last four matches, including a sweep of Suffolk as part of a tri-match at New Paltz on Friday.
Fiona Pyfer leads the offensive attack for the Cougars with 222 kills to go along with 28 service aces, while Jenna Schuda leads the team in both aces (50) and assists (478), handing out nearly eight helpers per set.
On the defensive end, Jessica Cleveland has lifted a team-high 208 digs with Shelby Hastings pacing the team with 33 total blocks.
Recent History: The two sides have met seven times since 2007, but have not played since the Mount scored a 3-2 road win on September 30, 2017.
Gauging The Dutchmen: Lebanon Valley opens play at Alvernia on Tuesday with a 12-6 overall record and a 2-3 mark in MAC Commonwealth action. The Dutchmen has won their last two outings, sweeping both Lycoming and Catholic on Saturday in Williamsport, Pa.
Taylor McInerney is in the midst of a strong all-around season entering Tuesday's action, leading the team with 293 kills, good for nearly five winners per set, 186 digs and 37 service aces.
Ali Whitworth has handed out 514 assists, averaging 8.57 per frame, while Margaret Cole and Olivia Nace control the net with 25 and 23 total blocks, respectively.
Recent History: Saturday's meeting will be the first on record between the two programs.
