Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Soccer team looks to extend its unbeaten streak to begin the season to three matches on Sunday afternoon when it travels to Ithaca. After the Knights won the season opener on a Skidmore Own Goal,
Caroline Schrag (Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.) potted her first career tally for the Mount's only scoring against the Dutchwomen last Sunday.

The Mount has gotten strong goalkeeping in the first two games of the season, with
Caroline Brucato (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) posting a shutout in her first career game, making 14 saves against Skidmore.
Christina Kakavas (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) added a 15-save performance to get the Knights their draw against Union.
Through two games, Mount Saint Mary is being outshot 54-8, but is outscoring its opponents 2-1.
Weekly Honors: After keeping Skidmore off the board on September 3 and making 14 saves, Brucato was named the Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
A Look At The Bombers: Ithaca enters Sunday's tilt with a perfect 3-0 record and is coming off a 2-0 win over Cortland on Wednesday. Delaney Rutan and Rosie Bostian scored first half goals and Alex Epifani assisted on both markers in the win. Claire Reader earned the shutout with five stops against the Red Dragons.
Epifani sits atop the team leaderboard in goals (2), assists (2) and points (6) and is one of seven different goal scorers for Ithaca through three games. She joins Rachel Richards and Rutan with game winning goals on the year.
Reader has seen the bulk of action in goal for the Bombers, playing 246:00 of a possible 270:00. She holds two shutouts, making seven saves, and boasts an .875 save percentage and a 0.37 goals against average.
Ithaca is outscoring its opponents 8-1 on the season and holds an 89-25 advantage in shots over the first three games of the year.
Recent History: The two sides will meet for the third straight season, with Ithaca scoring a 3-0 home win in 2018 before topping the Knights 4-1 in Newburgh in 2019.
What's Next: The Knights will play their first home game of the season on September 15 when they play host to RPI. Kick-off with the Engineers is set for 7:00 p.m.
