Newburgh, N.Y. – Following the postponement of its two conference games last week, the Mount Saint Mary College Women's Basketball team returns to action on Tuesday with a road game at Sage and Thursday with a home Skyline Conference tilt against St. Joseph's-L.I. Live Stats and Video will be available for both games this week for those who are unable to attend.

At A Glance: Mount Saint Mary begins the week at 4-2 overall and is coming off a 60-49 loss to Oneonta on November 27.
Morina Bojka (Prospect, Conn.) leads the scoring attack with 17.3 points per game and is shooting 45.2-percent from the field. Bojka adds 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1.8 assists per game for the Knights through six contests.
Katie Smith (Goshen, N.Y.) is good for 10.0 points per game and is converting at 43.4-percent overall and 41.2-percent from three-point range. Smith leads the team with 3.0 assists per game, adding 1.7 thefts per outing.
Annie Keenan (Nesconset, N.Y.) provides 8.2 points per game and leads the team on the boards with an even 10.0 caroms per night, adding 1.5 steals and 1.5 assists per game.
Erin Smith (Goshen, N.Y.) chips in 8.2 points and has knocked down a team-high 11 three-point field goals.
Mount Saint Mary scores 70.7 points per game to date while shooting 35.5-percent from the field, 26.3-percent from three-point range and 68.0-percent from the free-throw line. The Knights force 24 turnovers per game and are scoring 21.2 points per game off of turnovers.
Scouting Sage: The Gators begin play this week at 4-3 overall and are coming off a 62-56 home win over Cobleskill on December 2.
Sammy Pasinella leads the Gators with 18.4 points per game and is knocking down just under four three-pointers per game. Pasinella leads the team with 3.4 assists per game and also chips in 3.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals per night.
Syrita Faraj checks in with just over 16 points per contest for Sage and is getting to the free-throw line 9.4 times per night. Faraj hauls in 9.0 rebounds per outing and is handing out 2.6 assists per game. Savannah Sommer rounds out a trio of Gators scoring in double-figures with 13.5 points per game and leads the squad with just under 10 rebounds per night.
Sage is scoring just over 71 points per game through seven contests and is shooting 35.7-percent overall, 31.8-percent from three-point range and 67.1-percent from the free-throw line.
Recent History: The old Skyline Conference rivals have met 23 times since the start of the 2007-08 season with the Mount holding a 14-9 record. The two teams have split the last four meetings with the Knights scoring a tight 68-65 home win on January 2, 2020 in the last meeting between the two sides.
Gauging The Golden Eagles: St. Joseph's-L.I. enters a Tuesday league contest at Purchase with a 5-2 overall record and a 3-2 mark in conference play. The Golden Eagles have won two of their last three outings, including a 92-76 win over St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Saturday.
St. Joseph's boasts the league leader in scoring in Alyssa Adomaites who is pouring in 28.3 points per game on 46.3-percent shooting. Admonaites adds 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game for the Golden Eagles.
Alyssa Signor is scoring 17.3 points per night for St. Joseph's and is averaging a double-double with a team-high 10.7 caroms per night. Signor is adding 2.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game through seven contests. Lanyah Ford is chipping in 10.7 points per game and is hauling in just under six rebounds per contest.
St. Joseph's is second in the conference in scoring at 83.4 points per game and is shooting 39.3-percent overall, 30.2-percent from three-point range and 67.7-precent from the free-throw line. The Golden Eagles allow just a 34.3-percent opponent field goal percentage and a 23.4-percent conversion rate from three-point range.
Recent History: The longtime conference rivals have met 27 times since the start of the 2007-08 season with the Mount holding a 24-3 record. The Knights had a nine-game winning streak in the series stopped with a 68-62 road loss on February 1, 2020.
