Newburgh, N.Y. – Winners of three straight contests, the Mount Saint Mary College Women's Basketball team continues the 2021-22 season with a home game against league rival the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Tuesday before traveling to Oneonta on Saturday afternoon. At A Glance: After dropping the season opener, Mount Saint Mary has ripped off wins over #24 George Fox and league rivals Purchase and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn to move to 3-1 overall on the season and 2-0 in Skyline Conference play.
Morina Bojka (Prospect, Conn.) has come on strong in the last two games and leads the team in scoring with 16.5 points per night. After being held below double-figures over the first two games of the season, Bojka went for 19 points in Tuesday's win at Purchase and erupted for a season-high 33 points on 12-for-17 shooting at St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Saturday. Bojka is also good for 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game for the Knights.
Erin Smith (Goshen, N.Y.) poured in a career-high 15 points against Purchase and is second on the team in scoring with just under 12 points per game. She has knocked down a team-high nine three-point field goals and is chipping in 3.3 rebounds and just over one assists per game.
Katie Smith (Goshen, N.Y.) checks in with 11.0 points per game and leads the team with 3.0 assists per outing.
Annie Keenan (Nesconset, N.Y.) paces the Knights on the glass with 10.3 caroms per night and is contributing 7.3 points, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per outing.
After scoring a season-high 96 points on Saturday, Mount Saint Mary is averaging 74 points per game and is shooting 36.2-percent from the floor, 25.8-percent from three-point range and 68.7-percent from the free-throw line. The Knights are forcing 26 turnovers per game and scoring 26.5 points per game off of opponent miscues.
A Look At The Dolphins: Mount Saint Vincent comes to town on Tuesday sporting an unbeaten 4-0 overall record and a 2-0 mark against league rivals. The Dolphins battled past Farmingdale State by a score of 58-48 on Tuesday and topped Yeshiva 77-58 Sunday afternoon.
Four Dolphins are scoring in double-figures through the season's first four games, led by 15.3 points per game apiece from Amber Been and Dez Brown. Brown also adds 6.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals and a block per game with Been leading the way with 6.5 assists and better than seven steals per outing.
Victoria Hanley is good for 15 points per game, adding 8.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 3.3 steals per game. Kira Villegas adds 12.5 points per tilt to go along with 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and just under two steals per game.
Mount Saint Vincent is scoring 67.5 points per game and is out scoring its opponents by nearly 15 points per game. The Dolphins are shooting 41.7-percent overall, 23.2-percent from three-point range and 54.3-percent from the free-throw line. The Dolphins force better than 30 turnovers per game and are scoring 28 points per game off of miscues.

Scouting The Red Dragons: Oneonta enters Saturday's contest at 1-4 overall and is coming off its first win of the season, a 76-61 triumph over Cobleskill on Thursday.
Megan Palmatier paces the scoring attack for Oneonta with 13.0 points per contest, shooting 44.4-percent from the floor. Molly Stephens adds 10.8 points per game and has knocked in a team-high 11 three-point field goals.
Jenna Harclerode grabs a team-high 8.0 rebounds per game with Nadia Brown handing out 3.6 assists per night to go along with 8.0 points per game. Olivia Dobrovosky is off to a strong start with 9.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.8 steals per contest.
Oneonta is scoring just 56 points per game and is converting at 31.4-percent overall, 26.7-percent from three-point range and 65.4-percent from the charity stripe.
Recent History: The two teams have not met since December 10, 2005 with the Red Dragons scoring a 61-48 home win. In six meetings since the start of the 2000-01 season, Mount Saint Mary holds a 4-2 record with the last victory coming on February 1, 2005 in an 80-69 road decision.
