At A Glance: Mount Saint Mary enters Tuesday's contest with an 0-4 overall record and is coming off a 72-64 home loss to Vassar on Saturday.
Chris Yearwood (Red Hook, N.Y.) leads the Mount in scoring with 16.0 points per game and is coming off back-to-back 20-point performances over the weekend. Yearwood scored 21 points against Bard on Friday and poured in a career-high 23 points Saturday against Vassar. Yearwood is shooting just under 47-percent from the floor on the season and has connected on a team-high seven three-pointers. Yearwood is also good for 2.3 assists per game for the Knights.
Ryan Graham (Campbell Hall, N.Y.) is scoring 11.5 points per game to date for the Mount to go along with 2.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.0 rebounds per contest.
Connor Cyran (Garfield, N.J.) supports the offense with 9.0 points per game and is hauling down 5.0 rebounds per outing.
Jayden Figueroa (New Windsor, N.Y.) leads the Mount on the glass with 9.5 caroms per contest and is the team's top rim protector with 1.5 blocks per contest.
Mike Dedda (West Chester, Pa.) is handing out a team-best 3.5 assists per game and is swiping 1.0 steals per night.
Through four games, Mount Saint Mary is averaging 63 points per game and is shooting 36.6-percent from the field, 25-percent from three-point range and 68.3-percent from the free-throw line.
Scouting Sage: The Gators come to town having won four of their first five contests of the season and are coming off an 85-70 victory over SUNY-Poly on Saturday.
Two Gators average in double-figures through the season's first five contests, led by 18.0 points per outing from Jalon Boarders. Boarders is shooting 47.1-percent from the field and is also good for 5.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game.
Will Ruiz gives the Gators just shy of 11 points per game while shooting just under 49-percent from the field. Ruiz is also good for better than five rebounds per night for Sage.
Three other Gators are averaging at least 8.0 points per game, including Charles Davis who scores 8.0 points per night and is good for 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals and nearly 3.0 blocks per game.
Sage is scoring nearly 80 points per game as a team while shooting 42.4-percent from the floor, 23.9-percent from three-point range and 71.3-percent from the free-throw line.
Recent History: The old Skyline Conference rivals have not met since February 8, 21017 with the Gators coming away with a 69-56 win in Newburgh. Mount Saint Mary holds an 11-5 record over the last 16 meetings, but Sage has won five of the last six matchups.
