Riddle Collects Third Skyline Conference Player Of The Week Award

Junior totaled 37 kills over two league matches

New York, N.Y. – For the third time in the last four weeks, Mount Saint Mary College junior Outside Hitter Grace Riddle (Wantagh, N.Y.) has been named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week in Women's Volleyball. In total, the Mount has earned four weekly citations from the league office in 2021.
 
Riddle continued her standout season in a pair of league matches last week. She averaged just under five kills per set, adding 3.62 digs per frame for the Knights. In total, Riddle put away 37 kills over the three matches, hitting .277, and added 29 digs, three aces and a pair of blocks.
 
On Monday against Manhattanville, Riddle posted an 18-kill, 17-dig double-double while adding two blocks and an ace. On Saturday at St. Joseph's-L.I., Riddle put away 19 more kills and lifted 12 digs for the Mount while picking up two more service aces.
 
Entering the new week, Riddle leads the Skyline Conference in kills per set (4.37), ranks eighth in digs per set (3.31) and ninth in hitting percentage (.233).
 
At 8-9 overall and 2-4 in Skyline Conference play, Mount Saint Mary looks to stop a four-match skid on Tuesday when it travels to Sarah Lawrence. Match time with the Gryphons is set for 7:00 p.m.
