Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Soccer team returns to action on Wednesday evening with its home opener against Bard. Kick-off for the first game on the new turf on Kaplan Field is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
At A Glance: The Knights began the season with a 1-0 victory over Gwynedd Mercy on Friday afternoon and then lost to local foe Vassar 2-0 on Sunday evening.

Joseph Bacalhau (Woodbridge, N.J.) scored the game-winning goal in the win over Gwynedd Mercy while junior goalkeeper
Tyler Rapp (East Berne, N.Y.) earned a clean sheet and made six saves over the two contests.
Joey Dolan (Highland, N.Y.) leads the team in shots with eight as Bacalhau and
Matt Wyant (Beacon, N.Y.) each have a team high two shots on goal. As a team, the Mount has outshot opponents 25-14 over the two contests.
Scouting Bard: The Raptors lost a 4-0 contest to Nazareth on Saturday in their season opener. Nicolas Soucy led the team in shots with two as Logan Leppo made eight saves in goal for Bard. Bard was outshot 16-7 as well as 12-4 in shots on goal.
Next Up: The Knights will head to north to play in the two-day Best Western Plus Cardinal Classic in Plattsburgh. The Mount will take on William Paterson on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and then will take on either Hobart or Plattsburgh on Saturday at a time to be determined.
