Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Lacrosse team will play its final two non-conference games of the season this week when it travels to Arcadia on Wednesday and hosts Wilkes on Saturday afternoon. Wednesday's night's tilt is slated for 7:00 p.m. while Saturday's afternoon's contest at Kaplan Field is set for 1:00 p.m.
At A Glance: Mount Saint Mary enters the week at 3-5 overall on the season and is coming off a 7-5 loss to Marywood on March 23. The Mount has won two of its five homes games thus far and stand at 1-2 on the road heading into the Arcadia game.

Ryan Maraio (Staten Island, N.Y.) checks in with nine goals with a pair of sophomores in
Anthony Kearns (Clinton, N.J.) and
Thomas Bahmer III (East Brunswick, N.J.) each accounting for eight tallies.
Maraio enters the week as the team leader in assists with 11 and points with 20, with Holland and Kearns amassing 17 and 15 points, respectively. Kearns has added 13 groundballs and caused seven turnovers for the Knights heading into Wednesday.
The defense is led by sophomore
Matthew Martino (Watertown, Conn.) who has caused 21 turnovers and collected 27 groundballs. Senior
Peter Beidl (Clifton Park, N.Y.) has caused 12 turnovers and secured 25 groundballs, while
Danny Marshall (Oceanside, N.Y.) has forced seven miscues and picked up 17 groundballs.
Junior
Marco Spagnuolo (Staten Island, N.Y.) has taken 145 of the team's 181 face-offs this far and has won 67 for a percentage of .462. He has added 26 groundballs, good for second on the team in the category.
Eli Laikin (Oak Bluffs, Mass.) has manned the cage for the Knights, starting all eight games to date and playing 424:57 of a possible 487:51 for the Knights. He holds an 11.86 goals against average and a .500 save percentage, making 84 saves and adding 15 groundballs.
Last Time Out: The Knights closed out a four game home stand on March 23 with a hard fought 7-5 defeat to visiting Marywood. Holland led the offensive attack with two goals and three points.
Holland moved his team lead in goals to 14 with his scoring output, while freshman
Colby Martin (Huntington, N.Y.) rounded out the day with a goal and an assist for the Knights.
Martino finished the day with three caused turnovers and five groundballs for the Mount with Spagnuolo winning eight face-offs and adding four groundballs. Laikin made 10 saves in goal and led the team with six groundballs.
Marywood finished the day with a slim 32-31 advantage in overall shots, while the Knights held the edge in shots on goal 20-17, face-offs 8-6 and groundballs 38-28.
Scouting Arcadia: The Knights enter play on Wednesday at 4-4 overall and are coming off a 16-7 win over FDU-Florham on March 23. Joe Pedisich led the scoring attack with four goals and a pair of assists, while Grant Palmer earned the win in goal with nine saves.
Through eight games, Arcadia features a pair of 20 goal scorers in Brady Manion and Clo Muscara. Manion is tops on the team in assists with 17 and points with 37, while Muscara checks in with 10 helpers and 30 points. Sean Connolly and Wesley Sporer check in with 12 and 10 goals, respectively, with Tanner Pajakinas helping on 12 goals.
Josh Keitz leads a trio of players with at least 10 caused turnovers on the season with 13 and adds 43 groundballs. Nick Crawford and Ben La Rue each have caused 10 turnovers for the Knights thus far.
A pair of players have won at least 50 face-offs for Arcadia with Phillip Hane leading the way with 61 wins, a .635 percentage and 25 groundballs. Conor Cunningham has won 50 draws for a .568 percentage and has scooped 23 groundballs for the Knights.
Four goalies have seen action this season for Arcadia, with Palmer making six starts and playing 315:47 of a possible 480:00. He holds a 9.31 goals against average and a .637 save percentage while making 86 saves.
Arcadia has potted 95 goals in eight games and has outscored its opponents by 25 tallies. The team wins face-offs at a .608 clip and has picked up 49 more groundballs than its opponents.
Previewing Wilkes: The Colonels will come to town on Saturday off a 22-7 win over Wells on March 23 and with a 5-3 overall record. Wilkes has won its last two outings and three of its last four overall heading into the weekend.
John Wink leads an explosive offensive attack with 37 goals and 52 points through eight games. He is one of five players with at least 11 goals on the season and leads a trio of players with at least 10 assists on the year.
J.T. Weitzel and Jack O'Connell lead the team with six caused turnovers apiece, with Weitzel picking up 36 groundballs. Andrew Moynihan has won 102 face-offs for a .675 percentage to go along with a team-high 41 groundballs.
Carter Whittemore leads four goalies who have seen time in 2019 and has made five starts and played 254:11 of a possible 487:05. He holds a 10.62 goals against average and a .571 save percentage while making 60 stops.
Wilkes is outscoring its opponents 114-74 and boasts a face-off percentage of nearly .700. Wilkes also controls groundballs on the year, totaling 356 to its opponents' 293.
What's Next: Following Saturday's home game with the Colonels, Mount Saint Mary will open Skyline Conference play on the road at Farmingdale State on April 6.
