Newburgh, N.Y. - The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Soccer team returns home for a short two-game homestand with Maritime on Wednesday and Senior Day with Sarah Lawrence on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off with the Privateers is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. while the game with the Gryphons is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Live stats and video will be available for those unable to attend.
 
At A Glance: The Knights are coming off three straight victories including a 2-1 road victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday. The Mount enters Wednesday's matchup at 7-4-1 overall and 4-0-1 in conference play.
 
Reigning Skyline Conference Player of the Week 
Connor Doyle (New Windsor, N.Y.) leads the Knights in goals with eight as well as points with 19. 
Joey Dolan (Highland, N.Y.) and 
Matt Wyant (Beacon, N.Y.) have chipped in six goals apiece for the Mount.  
Peter Ramirez (New Windsor, N.Y.) and Doyle are tied for the team standard in assists with three as 10 total players have tallied an assist this season.
 
Tyler Rapp (East Berne, N.Y.) has started 11 of the 12 games in goal for the Mount, posting a 1.44 goals against average and has made 49 saves on the season.
 
Last Time Out: The Mount won its third straight contest on Saturday afternoon as the Knights defeated the College of Mount Saint Vincent 2-1 on the road. Sophomore 
Connor Doyle (New Windsor, N.Y.) scored both first half goals for the Mount.
 
The Mount cashed in a chance in the 22nd minute when Doyle got his head on a feed from 
Joseph Mesoraca (Oceanside, N.Y.) to give the Knights a 1-0 lead. Doyle's goal was his eighth of the year and pushed him into the team lead for goals. Seven minutes later, Doyle tallied his second goal of the contest on an assist from Dolan. His ninth goal of the season came at the 30:05 mark.
 
Early in the second half, Mount Saint Vincent cut the lead in half when Mauricio Ricalde headed a cross from Sory Konate in 48th minute. Neither team could find the back of the net in the final 42 minutes as Rapp turned away Santiago Ferrer's shot in the 89th minute to secure the Knights third straight win.
 
Doyle finished the game with five shots in the game as Wyant and 
Jonathan Schefer (Greenlawn, N.Y.) each tallied three shots for the Knights. Ferrer finished with four shots for the Dolphins and Ricalde added three shots. Rapp earned the victory in goal as he made seven saves for the Mount.
 
Previewing Maritime: The Privateers enter Wednesday's contest at 7-6 overall and 2-2 in Skyline Conference action after a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Sarah Lawrence on Saturday.
 
Christopher Tavernese leads Maritime in goals with five and points with 11 while Nicholas Gino is second in goals with four. Thomas Kropp leads the squad in assists with six as 12 players have tallied an assists for the Privateers.
 
Michael Rodriquez has started 10 of the 13 games for Maritime as he has posted a 1.33 goals against average and has made 25 saves. Ethan Silver has started the other three games for the Privateers and holds a 1.26 GAA and has made 15 stops.
 
Scouting Sarah Lawrence: The Gryphons start the week at 5-5-1 overall and 2-2-1 in Skyline play before taking on Old Westbury on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Sinjin Mendenhall leads the squad in goals with five and points with 12 as Pacqui Pascual has added three goals for the Gryphons. Tristan Moehs is the leader in assists for four and has chipped in two goals on the season.
 
Aaron Ashery has started 10 of the 11 games in goal for Sarah Lawrence and has made 62 saves while posting a GAA of 2.66. Matteo Romano has made 20 saves in limited action for the Gryphons.
 
What's Next: The Knights hit the road for a Skyline contest with Farmingdale State on Tuesday afternoon. Kick-off with the Rams is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
