Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Soccer team looks to score its third straight win on Tuesday afternoon when it heads to league rival Old Westbury. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. with Live Stats and Video available for those who cannot attend.
At A Glance: Mount Saint Mary is coming off a 4-1 home win over the College of Mount Saint Vincent, giving it consecutive wins for the first time in 2019 and improving its overall record to 4-8 and its league mark to a perfect 4-0.
Following a hat trick against the Dolphins, senior
Chrissy Cannella (Cornwall, N.Y.) leads the offensive attack with 10 goals and 22 points. Cannella is one of seven players with at least two goals on the season, with

KellyAnn Platt (Staten Island, N.Y.) and
Julie Roethel (Monroe, N.Y.) all checking in with three tallies.
Maeve Ward (Warwick, N.Y.),
Gina Rivera (Washingtonville, N.Y.) and
Nikki Carter (Southington, Conn.) have all registered a pair of goals for the Knights, while
Brittany Bornstad (Linden, N.J.) paces the team with four assists. Cannella and junior
Haley Murphy (Massapequa, N.Y.) have each helped on a pair of goals for the Knights.
In goal, junior
Cyan Scott (Buena Park, Calif.) has made 10 of a possible 12 starts for the Mount and played 900:00 of a possible 1080:00. She has stopped 41 opponent shots, recorded three shutouts and holds a 2.10 goals against average and a .661 save percentage. Platt has seen action in the other two contests for the Knights, stopping 12 shots.
Last Time Out: The Knights overcame an early 1-0 deficit on Saturday against Mount Saint Vincent to pull away for a 4-1 home victory. Cannella scored three straight first half goals and Roethel tallied in the second half to send the Mount to its second straight victory.
Scott made a trio of saves in the win for the Knights in a game the Mount outshot the visitors 28-5 overall and 14-4 in shots on goal.
Skyline Conference Honors: After scoring four goals, including the game winner in both games last week, Cannella was named the Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Week. In addition, Bornstad was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week after anchoring a backline that surrendered just one goal and allowed only eight shots over two contests.
Previewing The Panthers: Old Westbury begins the week with a 6-5 overall record and a 1-2 mark in Skyline Conference play. The Panthers are coming off a 3-0 win over Lehman on Saturday, but have dropped four of their last six overall.
Mia Almonte leads the scoring attack with nine goals for the Panthers and is one of two players with double-figures in points with a team-high 19. Bernadelle Dorvil has potted five goals to date and is second on the team with 11 points with Brianna Williams and Britney Graham each registering nine points. Gabby Lamanno leads the way in assists heading into Tuesday's tilt with three.
The Panthers have used a pair of goalkeepers through 11 games with Yakeline Umanzor appearing in each game and playing 666:16 of a possible 993:04. She has stopped 30 shots and posted a goals against average of 2.30 and a save percentage of .638. Moria Nolan has appeared in eight contests and recorded a 2.20 goals against average and a .467 save percentage while making seven stops.
Recent History: Since 2008 the two teams have played 15 times with the Knights boasting a 13-2 record against the Panthers. After losing back-to-back games in 2009 and 2010, the Mount has ripped off 12 straight victories and allowed just three goals over that stretch.
