Newburgh, N.Y. - The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Soccer team concludes the regular season with a non-conference contest at home on Saturday against NYU before returning to Skyline Conference play with the regular season finale on Tuesday against St. Joseph's-L.I. Kick-off with the Violets is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and the contest with the Golden Eagles is set for 7:00 p.m.

Tyler Rapp (East Berne, N.Y.) has started 16 of the 17 games for Mount Saint Mary and he is second in the conference in goals against average at 1.18. He has made 68 saves this season and leads the conference in save percentage at .791.

Last Time Out: The Mount won its eighth straight game on Thursday night as the Knights defeated Purchase 4-1. Four different players tallied a goal on the evening for the Mount Saint Mary.

Mount Saint Mary scored its first goal of the night on its first shot of the night as Doyle scored his conference-leading 12th goal of the season on a feed from Dolan at the 10:37 mark of the first half. In the 29th minute, Purchase countered with a goal of its own as Colman Cassidy banged one off the right post and in to tie the game at one apiece.

Dolan scored his 11th goal of the season at the 40:23 mark of the first half when he scored off a free kick from 35 yards out as he wired it in the top right corner. The eventual game-winning goal gave the Knights a 2-1 lead at the half. The Mount outshot Purchase 7-4 in the first 45 minutes and owned all three corner kicks.

After Wyant's penalty kick attempt rang off the post, the Knights quickly found the back of the net in the 57th minute when Wyant buried a rebound off the crossbar on a shot from Ramirez. Wyant's 10th goal of the season was scored at the 56:38 mark of the second half.

Mount Saint Mary's fourth goal of the evening came in the 89th minute when Mesoraca passed a ball in the box to
Anthony Guglielmo (Setauket, N.Y.) who quickly crossed it to
Matthew Iaria (Suffern, N.Y.), scoring his second goal of the season.

The Mount outshot the Panthers 16-4 in the second half, finishing with a 23-8 edge in shots and 13-4 in shots on goal. Doyle registered five shots on the night for the Knights as Wyant and Dolan each recorded four shots. Cassidy led the way for Purchase in shots as he finished with three on the night.

Rapp earned the victory in goal for Mount Saint Mary as he made three stops on the night to increase his conference-leading save percentage to .791 and lower his GAA to 1.18.

Scouting NYU: The Violets enter Saturday's game at 6-5-1 overall and 3-1 in the UAA after a double overtime 1-0 loss to the University of Chicago on Sunday.
Sergio Monton and Oliver Kleban lead NYU in goals with three apiece as Owen Smith and Victor Kang have each added two goals. Monton also leads in assists with five as he is the only player with double digit points.
Luca Mancuso and Nick Vafiadis have split the time in goal for the Violets as Mancuso has a 0.84 GAA, made 33 saves and has posted a save percentage of .846. Vafiadis holds a GAA of 1.04, has made 11 saves and has posted a save percentage of .688.

Previewing St. Joseph's-L.I.: The Golden Eagles will travel to Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday before hosting the Knights on Tuesday evening. St. Joseph's-L.I. enters the weekend at 2-11-1 overall and 2-6-1 in Skyline action.
Rayneri Ruiz is the leader in goals with 10 and points with 23 for the Golden Eagles. Damian Duda is second in goals with four and leads in assists with four. St. Joseph's-L.I. has scored only 15 goals all season with Ruiz and Duda combining for 14 of them.
Tyler Flaherty has earned the majority of the time in net for the Golden Eagles as he has made 70 saves, posted a GAA of 2.61 and has a save percentage of .714.

What's Next: The Knights have clinched at least a first round bye in the Skyline Conference Championship tournament that will begin on Saturday, November 2. The Mount will host a semifinal contest on Wednesday, November 6 with the opponent and time to be determined.
