Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Soccer team hosts Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. They later travel to New Jersey to take on Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
At a Glance: The Knights are 3-2 on the season after splitting two games in the Alfred University Tournament. They were defeated by Keuka, 3-2, and then rebounded to beat Alfred, 5-3.

Jakup Myrtja has started four of the five games and has posted a Goals Against Average of 1.90.
Freshman
Matthew Wyant was voted the MSMC Male Athlete of the Week after scoring a goal and tallying two assists for the Knights this weekend. He now leads the team in points with five. Senior
Bereket Watts scored two goals in the 5-3 victory.
A Look At Rutgers-Newark: The Scarlet Raiders are 2-2-1 on the season after defeating Elizabethtown College, 3-1, and drawing with Gettysburg College, 0-0, this weekend.
Joshua Breton-Jones, Franco Catania, and Alec Viruet are tied for the team lead in goals with three. Christian Andrach has started four of the five games in goal and has posted a GAA of 1.18.
Previewing FDU-Florham: The Devils won their first game of the year on Saturday, defeating Farmingdale State 2-1, bringing their season record to 1-3.
Justin Estremara leads the team with two goals. Goalkeepers Parker Malman and Liam Ryan have split time for FDU-Florham. Malman has posted a GAA of 2.66 while Ryan has a 4.72.
What's Next: The Knights returns home to play host to Middlebury College on Tuesday, September 18. The game is set for an 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
