Mount Saint Mary Travels To John Jay, Hosts Two Skyline Rivals

Knights hosts Senor Day on Saturday

Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team plays its final three games of the regular season this week. The Knights will play on the road at John Jay College at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will return home for Senior Day to host a tri-match on Saturday when they will take on Sarah Lawrence at 11 a.m. and St. Joseph's-LI at 3 p.m.

At a Glance: The Knights are 16-12 (6-2 Skyline) on the season after winning a five set thriller against Bard on Tuesday followed by sweeping St. Joseph's-Brooklyn and Purchase on Saturday.

Morgan Burke (Ringwood, N.J.) continues to lead the team in kills with 227 and Alex Klesin (Glendale, N.Y.) is second on the team with 206. Kim Gries (Hicksville, N.Y.) continues to lead the team in assists with 713. Klaire Wall (Point Pleasant, N.J.) leads in aces with 40 while Burke is second with 30.

Wall also leads in digs with 268, with Madelyn Barberan (Fishkill, N.Y.) being second on the team with 238. Burke also leads the team in blocks with 56 after tying the program record with 10 blocks against Bard.

A Look At John Jay: The Bloodhounds are 11-9 (5-3 CUNYAC) on the season after being swept by FDU-Florham on Saturday and New Rochelle on Monday.

Brianna Geraldo is the kills leader with 217 and Niovis Monsanto is second with 164. Kimberly Rodriquez is the leading setter with 656 assists as well as the leading server with 55 aces.

Stephanie Marcano is the leader in digs with 248 while Geraldo is next with 218. Mirialis Almanzar is the leader in blocks with 55, with Nyla Lloyd-Clarke being second with 29.

Previewing Sarah Lawrence: The Gryphons are 6-14 (2-6 Skyline) this season following a loss to NJCU, 3-1, and a 3-0 loss to Brooklyn College on Saturday. They will travel to the College of New Rochelle on Wednesday.

Melanie Coleman is the leader in kills with 241 and Isabel Pecora is the assist leader with 395. Cat Ramey is the aces leader with 59 and Pecora is second with 40.

Lauren Kilroy is the digs leader with 281 and Pecora is second with 158. Coleman and Helen Song are tied for the lead in blocks with 11.

Scouting St. Joseph's-LI: The Golden Eagles are 18-10 (6-1 Skyline) on the season after sweeping Yeshiva and defeating Mount Saint Vincent, 3-1. They will host St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Tuesday.

Kaitlin Williams is the kills leader with 198, Jessica Young is second with 194 and Kristen Bohnenblusch is third with 167. Brionna Silva is the assist leader with 463 and Toni Parente is second with 356.

Bohnenbulsch is the aces leader with 49, Danielle Senecal is second with 45 and Amanda Rose is third with 35. Senecal is the digs leader with 398 and Bohnenbulsch is second with 221. Young is the blocks leader with 74 and Williams is second with 49.

What's Next: The Knights will begin the Skyline Conference Championship on Tuesday at the high seeds. Schedule will be released following the final Skyline matches this weekend.
