Men's Soccer Heads To USMMA, Purchase

Knights coming out 2OT win over Farmingdale State

Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Soccer team begins its final road trip when it travels to USMMA on Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. The Knights will then travel to Purchase on Saturday at 12 p.m.

At a Glance: The Knights are 9-5-1 (5-1-1 Skyline) on the season after being shut out by Maritime, 3-0, on Wednesday and rebounding to defeat Farmingdale State, 2-1 (2OT), on Saturday.

Connor Doyle scored both goals in the win over Farmingdale State, heading in the game-winner in the 103rd minute. Matthew Wyant continues to hold the team lead in points with 14.

Sean Madden picked his first win of his Mount career, coming in the second half, and making a pair saves.

A Look At USMMA: The Mariners are 9-3-2 (5-2-1 Skyline) after shutting out St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Saturday, 5-0.

Zach Lysakowski leads the team in goals with seven. Daniel Murphy leads the team in assists with four.

Matthew Milner has started all 14 games in net, posting a GAA of 0.44, making 33 saves for the season.

Scouting Purchase: The Panthers are 4-5-2 on the season after being shut out by St. Joseph's-LI, 2-0.

Yianni Amvrosiatos leads the team in goals with four and leads the team in assists with five.

Jordan Meade has started all 11 games in goal, posting a GAA of 1.41, making 65 saves on the year.

What's Next: The Knights return home to host their final regular season game against St. Joseph's-LI on Wednesday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m.
