Riverdale, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Basketball team had its three game winning streak halted on Friday night with a 77-62 road Skyline Conference loss at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. A trio of Knights scored in double-figures, led by 18 points from senior

The Mount jumped out to an early 10-5 lead on a
Gerard Nocera (Holmdel, N.J.) three-pointer early in the contest and after the two teams traded the lead, built its first half lead to 31-22 on a Nocera lay-in with just over six minutes left before halftime.
The Knights moved in front by double-figures on a pair of
Daniel Wolff (Holtsville, N.Y.) free-throws with 2:51 left before the break and grabbed a game-high 12-point advantage on a
T.J. Patsalos (Newburgh, N.Y.) bucket with just shy of two minutes left in the first half.
The Patsalos jumper was the final field goal of the half for the Mount, but a pair of Nocera free-throws after the Dolphins sliced the lead to six gave the Knights a 38-30 advantage at the break.
The Mount converted at 48.1-percent in the opening 20 minutes and went 4-for-10 from three-point range to build the halftime advantage. McDine and Nocera paced the first half scoring attack with 11 points apiece, combining to go 7-for-10 from the floor and 3-for-3 from three-point range.
McDine moved the lead back to double-figures early in the second half, but the Dolphins used a 19-8 run, capped by a Raquis Harris jumper to take a 49-48 lead with 12:44 left in regulation time.
The Knights answered with a Wolff bucket to pull back in front 50-49, but Mount Saint Vincent surged in front with a 20-4 run that saw it grab a 69-54 advantage on a Matthew Sowah free-throw with 4:22 left in regulation time.
Mount Saint Mary could only climb as close as 13 points the rest of the way, with the Dolphins taking a game-high 75-56 lead on a pair of Harris free-throws with 1:43 left in the contest.
Mount Saint Vincent hit five triples in the second half and outscored the Knights 16-7 form the free-throw line on its way to outscoring the Mount 47-24 after halftime. The Knights cooled to 38.1-percent shooting in the second half and went just 1-for-7 from behind the arc.
McDine led all scorers in the game with 18 points on 5-for-9 shooting, including a pair of triples, with Nocera adding 16 points, also hitting a pair of three-pointers. Wolff chipped in with 10 points with each player collecting a pair of steals. Wolff led the team with five rebounds and three assists on the night.
Mount Saint Vincent was led by 16 points each from Sowah and Andrew Curiel with Ammad Alkhulaidi leading all player with 13 rebounds. Harris wrapped up the night with 14 points, 10 rebounds and three assists for the Dolphins.
Mount Saint Vincent finished the night shooting 43.8-percent overall, but struggled from bonus distance, going 5-for-17. The Knights also misfired on 13 free-throws, finishing the game converting at 53.6-percent from the line. Mount Saint Mary secured just one offensive rebound in the game and was outscored 22-0 in second chance points.
Friday's loss drops Mount Saint Mary back below the .500 mark overall at 3-4 and to 3-2 in Skyline Conference play. The Knights return to action on Monday when they take on Chapman in Miami, Fla. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
