Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team ran its winning streak to a season-long four matches on Wednesday with a 19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 32-20 road win at Bard. Senior
Megan Williams (Glenmont, N.Y.) rounded out the night with a career-high 14 kills for the Knights.
Williams was one of two players to reach double-figures in kills on the night with a match-high 14. She hit .250 in the match to go along with four blocks and six digs. Ally Kleisin (Glendale, N.Y.) joined Williams in double-figures and matched her career-high with 10 kills against the Raptors. Klesin hit .259 in the contest and lifted four digs.
Freshman
Danielle Kralik (Bedford Hills, N.Y.) continued her strong play with eight winners and seven digs, while
Morgan Burke (Ringwood, N.J.) put away seven kills, hitting .462, to go along with a pair of blocks, three aces and four digs.
Senior
Julimar Figueroa (Dorado, Puerto Rico) led the Knights with 18 digs in the win and added six service aces, just one shy of her career-high in the category. Junior
Kim Gries (Hicksville, N.Y.) finished off the night with 39 assists and six digs.
Bard was led by 13 kills from Philippine Alba and received nine winners, five digs and two aces from Maracela Talamantes. Emily Anastasi led all players with 32 digs and Jewel Smith finished the night with 30 assists.
Kills in the match were even at 45-45 and service aces were equal at 10-10, while the Knights finished the night with a 7-4 advantage in total team blocks.
At 13-17 overall on the season, Mount Saint Mary closes out the regular season on Saturday with a pair of Skyline Conference matches at Sarah Lawrence. The Knights will take on the host Gryphons at 11:00 a.m. and then square-off with St. Joseph's-L.I. at 1:00 p.m.
