Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Tennis team continued its spring season on Tuesday with a 7-2 non-conference loss to visiting Baruch. Freshman Mikayla Zaccaria (Point Lookout, N.Y.) scored a singles win and teamed with Isabella Tartaglione (Pine Bush, N.Y.) for a win at second doubles.
 
Zaccaria moved to 11-4 in her rookie campaign with a 6-3, 6-1 win on Tuesday. She is one of just two players to have an individual record above .500 this season. In addition to her singles victory, Zaccaria teamed with Tartaglione for the first time this season for an 8-4 win at the second doubles spot.
 
Tuesday's loss drops Mount Saint Mary to 4-11 overall on the season. The Knights will close out the spring schedule on April 15 when they travel to Rutgers-Newark. Match time is set for 4:30 p.m.
