Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team travels to Albany, N.Y. to take on Sage in the First Round of the Skyline Conference Championship in a match that is scheduled to start at 7 p.m on Tuesday. A Look At The Knights: The Knights finished the regular season with an overall record of 15-17 and they had a conference record of 7-4 which was good enough to make them the fifth seed in the championship. Senior outside hitter

Madelyn Barberan (Fishkill, N.Y.) leads the team with 344 digs. Senior setter
Kristen Maddock (Medford, N.Y.) has handed out 593 assists and freshman middle blocker
Morgan Burke (Ringwood, N.J.) paces the team with a total of 81 blocks during the regular season, a new single season record at the Mount.
Scouting Sage: The Gators finished the regular season with an overall record of 16-17, and had a conference record of 8-3 which secured the fourth seed in the tournament. Senior outside hitters Sara Campolieta and Michayla Berard lead the way in kills as Campolieta has 280 and Berard has recorded 275 entering Tuesday's tilt. Senior setter Rachel Liebig paces the team in assists with 901. Junior defensive specialist Missy Schneiderman has lifted 401 digs and junior middle hitter Alyssa Nellis has posted a team-high in total blocks during the regular season with 61.
History Between The Teams: Since the start of the 2007 season, the Knights have a record of 4-10 against the Gators. The last time these teams met was on Saturday, October. 22 in which the Knights dropped a four set decision. Senior outside hitter
Angelia Cirigliano (Newburgh, N.Y.) led the Knights in kills with 12 and Maddock recorded 30 assists in the match. Berard led all players with 18 kills for the Gators and Liebig recorded 37 assists for Sage.
Championship History: The Knights have qualified for the Skyline Conference Championship in nine straight seasons and 10 of the last 12 campaigns dating back to the 2004 year. The Mount has advanced to the conference championship final in five of the last six seasons, including the 2012 campaign when the Mount won the conference title and advanced on to the NCAA Tournament.
Mount Saint Mary and Sage have battled four times in the conference championship, with the Gators winning three times. The Knights' lone win came last season in the semifinal round with
