Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Soccer team will open play in the 2016 Skyline Conference Championship on Wednesday afternoon after earning a First Round bye. The second seeded Knights will welcome the third seeded Dolphins from the College of Mount Saint Vincent to Kaplan Field for a 3:00 p.m. kick-off with Live Stats available for those who cannot attend the game.
At A Glance: The Knights enter Wednesday's tilt winners of their last four contests and with an 8-8 overall record. The Mount finished the conference schedule at 7-2 and by virtue of its 2-0 win over Purchase in the regular season finale and the conference's tie breaking policies earned the second seed in the conference championship and a First Round bye.

Destiny Ribadeneyra (Maybrook, N.Y.) accounted for both Mount Saint Mary goals, scoring six minutes apart in the first half.
Bridget McKeever (Wallkill, N.Y.) picked up an assist on the second goal to move her team lead in points to 24. Junior
Mary Riley (Newburgh, N.Y.) was not forced to make a save in the contest, earning her 22
nd career shutout.
Entering play on Wednesday, McKeever leads the Knights in goals (9) and points (24), while Ribadeneyra paces the team with 10 assists and has added 20 points. A balanced team scoring attack features eight players with at least four goals and eight players with at least 10 points.
Riley has stopped 59 opponent's shots thus far in 2016 and holds a goals against average of 1.99 to go along with a .686 save percentage. She has two shutouts on the season and is one blanking shy of matching the career record at Mount Saint Mary.
Scouting The Dolphins: Mount Saint Vincent advanced to Wednesday's semifinal by virtue of a 2-0 victory over Purchase on Saturday in the First Round of the championship. Nicole Weber scored the deciding tally in the 57
th minute, while Erin Dailey added an insurance marker in the 62
nd minute. Julia McGowan picked up an assist on the game winning tally to move her conference leading point total to 48.
McGowan leads the Dolphins and the Skyline Conference in scoring through Saturday's First Round games, entering Wednesday's tilt with 21 goals and the aforementioned 48 points. Kelly Gibison is tied for the conference lead with a team-high 11 assists to go along with 10 goals, with Erin Dailey supporting the offensive output with six goals and 17 points.
Elizabeth Martin has seed the bulk of time in goal for the Dolphins, playing in 1,509:30 of a possible 1,689:30 in 2016. She has stopped 78 shots and holds a .757 save percentage and a 1.49 goals against average.
Recent History: Since the start of the 2007 season, Mount Saint Mary holds an 11-0 record against Mount Saint Vincent, including a 3-1 road victory in 2016. McKeever scored twice for the Mount on October 19, with
Nicole Cavallo (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) adding a tally for the Knights.
Championship History: Mount Saint Mary has qualified for the conference championship in 10 straight seasons and has advanced to the championship game in each of the last six campaigns. Since the 2007 year, the Mount holds a 7-9-1 record in the championship tournament, advancing to last year's final on penalties against Sage. Mount Saint Mary and Mount Saint Vincent have met once previously in the conference championship, in the First Round in 2015, with the Knights cruising to a 4-0 victory.
