Michelle Carnovale (Massapequa, N.Y.) continued her unbeaten streak with her 11
th win at first singles.
Carnovale moved to 11-0 on the season Wednesday, cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 victory. She is just the second player since the conclusion of the 2012-13 season to win as many as 11 singles matches for the Knights in a season, joining
Mikayla Zaccaria (Point Lookout, N.Y.) who won 12 a season ago.

Alissa Gileau (East Granby, Conn.) evened her singles record at 4-4 after battling to a 2-6, 6-4, 10-0 win at the second position and classmate
Isabella Tartaglione (Pine Bush, N.Y.) picked up a 6-3, 6-1 triumph at third singles.
Zaccaria improved to 6-4 overall on the season in singles play and to a perfect 5-0 at the fourth position with a 6-2, 6-1 victory on Wednesday. Freshman
Miyanna Vernon (Liberty, N.Y.) also moved to 6-4 on the season and to 4-2 at fifth singles with a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
Dorothy Tighe (Walden, N.Y.) closed out the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at the sixth position.
Mount Saint Mary started the match with a 3-0 lead after taking each of the three doubles matches against the Bulldogs. Carnovale and GIleau moved to 7-4 at the top flight with an 8-3 win, while
Charlotte Pascual (Freeport, N.Y.) and Tartaglione won their second match of the season together with an 8-4 win at second doubles. Zaccaria and Tighe teamed together for the fourth time this season for an 8-3 third position win.
Wednesday's win pushes Mount Saint Mary to 4-7 overall on the season. The Knights will return to Skyline Conference play on Friday when they play host to Sage. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
