Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College women's volleyball team fell to The College at Brockport, 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-14), in a non-conference match at the RIT Invitational Friday evening. The Knights are now 0-11 overall in the season and Brockport moves to 13-1.
Brockport's Kayla Barber and Ashley Capone shared the game high for kills (8), while Maddy Taylor and Rachel Fiser shared the game high for aces with three each.
The Knights played a defensive game as senior libero Jen Gries (Hicksville, N.Y.) racked up 12 digs. Sophomore middle blocker Jen Bones (Camden, Del.) had two blocks along with junior outside hitter Rachel Sabatini (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) and sophomore right side Megan Williams (Glenmont, N.Y.) who both had one block a piece. The Knights continued their play today, Sept. 19, in Rochester N.Y. where they faced SUNY Geneseo, Buffalo State, and Nazareth College.
