Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Women's Tennis team rounded out the 2015 fall schedule on Tuesday evening with a 6-3 non-conference home loss to visiting Bard. Senior Breanna Scott (Highland Falls, N.Y.) and freshman Mikayla Zaccaria (Point Lookout, N.Y.) each collected singles wins for the Knights in the contest.
 
Scott moved to 8-5 overall at the first singles position on Tuesday. She registered a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at the lead spot against Bard and teamed with classmate Katie Conroy (Middletown, N.Y.) in a hard fought 8-4 loss at the top doubles position.
 
Zaccaria, who earned her second straight Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week Award on Monday, closed out a strong first fall with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the sixth singles spot. She moved to 9-4 overall in her first collegiate campaign.
 
In doubles action, the second pair of Isabella Tartaglione (Pine Bush, N.Y.) and Alissa Gileau (East Granby, Conn.) scored an 8-6 victory over Bard's second dup to move to 7-5 overall in doubles action on the fall.
 
Tuesday's defeat drops Mount Saint Mary to 4-9 overall on the season.
