Breanna Scott (Highland Falls, N.Y.) who posted her fourth straight singles victory in the contest.
Playing at the first singles position, Scott registered a 6-1, 7-5 victory for the Knights, earning her fourth straight singles win and moving to 6-4 in singles play on the season. She went on to team with classmate
Katie Conroy (Middletown, N.Y.) to post an 8-6 win at the first doubles position.
Junior
Isabella Tartaglione (Pine Bush, N.Y.) earned a hard fought 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (10-8) win for the Knights at second singles, while
Alissa Gileau (East Granby, N.Y.) picked up her fifth singles win of the season with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph at the third position.
Ellen Hendricks (West Point, N.Y.) dominated the fourth singles match for the Knights with a 6-4, 6-0 victory and was followed by a 6-3, 6-1 win from Conroy at the fifth position and a 6-3, 6-0 triumph from freshman
Mikayla Zaccaria (Point Lookout, N.Y.) at the sixth slot.
In doubles action, Tartaglione teamed with Gileau at the second position for an 8-6 victory before
Mallory Menneci (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and Zaccaria dominated the third doubles match, cruising to an 8-1 victory.
Friday's win stops a two match slide for the Knights and moves them to 4-7 overall on the season. Next up for the Knights is a Skyline Conference contest with Yeshiva on Sunday afternoon. Match time at the Kaplan Tennis Courts is set for 1:00 p.m.
