NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College women's tennis team (2-7, 0-4 Skyline) fell to The Sage Colleges (4-6, 1-2 Skyline), 6-3, Sunday afternoon on the Mount Saint Mary College Tennis Courts.
The Knights fell in the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches, but picked up a point at flight three. Junior
Ellen Hendricks (West Point, N.Y.) and freshman
Mallory Menneci (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) came out victorious in their match against Alex Faas and Lindsey Tolman by a score of 8-6.

Katie Conroy (Middletown, N.Y.) picked up at win at flight-five singles over Faas, 6-1, 6-4, while Hendricks added a victory at No. 6, 6-2, 6-3, over Melissa Estermera. The Gators came out on top at singles matches 1-4 to pick up the conference victory.
The Knights' next match against Lehman College scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed due to conference rescheduling for Lehman. The Knights will next play on Wednesday, Oct. 8, when they host York College (N.Y.) at 6 p.m.
