GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Mount Saint Mary College women's volleyball team tumbled to 0-4 on the season with a pair of losses on Saturday at the Battlefield Classic. The Knights dropped a three-set match to Gettysburg before falling in four sets to the University of Scranton.
Senior
Mary Ann Raftery (Long Beach, N.Y.) continued to be a bright spot for the Knights, recording 10 kills in each match. Fellow senior
Lauren Halverson (Patchogue, N.Y.) racked up 24 assists against Gettyburg and 33 more against Scranton. Senior
Katharine Tischer (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) added 10 kills against Scranton, while freshman
Jen Gries (Hicksville, N.Y.) posted a team-high 19 digs.
The Knights will look to right the ship during a home match with Ramapo College on Thursday, September 6. The match is set for a 7:00 p.m. start in the Kaplan Center.
