FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - Mount Saint Mary College senior
Gabriela Murphy-Goldberg (Newburgh, N.Y.) claimed a pair of victories on Saturday as her team went on to a 7-2 victory over Farmingdale State College. The Knights (7-0 overall) take over sole possession of first place in the Skyline Conference with a record of 3-0.

Morgan Holbrook (Montgomery, N.Y.) for an 8-4 win at first doubles, while junior
Jillian Torre (Bohemia, N.Y.) and freshman
Breanna Scott (Highland Falls, N.Y.) also came away with an 8-4 win at third.
Murphy-Goldberg provided the highlight in the singles lineup, taking down Farmingdale's Jessica Sickles in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5. Sickles was the 2011 Skyline Conference Player of the Year. Holbrook eased to a 6-0, 6-2 at second singles and fellow freshman
Ashlynne O'Brien (Washingtonville, N.Y.) earned a 6-4, 6-0 win at third. At fifth singles, Scott came away with a 6-3, 6-0 win and at sixth singles, Torre cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win.
The Knights will host Purchase College next Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Newburgh.
