ALBANY, N.Y. – Freshman
Shanice Robe (Valley Stream, N.Y.) scored three goals and added an assist on the team's fourth goal to lead Mount Saint Mary College to a 4-1 Skyline Conference win over Sage on Thursday evening. With the win, the Knights improve to 13-2-1 overall and clinch the regular season Skyline Conference title.
Robe opened the scoring in the 13th minute, putting home a corner kick from sophomore
Kim Castro (Vernon, N.J.). After Sage tied the game in the 28th minute, Robe answered with an unassisted goal in the 43rd minute to send the Knights to the half with a 2-1 advantage.
With her team still leading by a goal, Robe completed her hat trick with a tally in the 59th minute. The freshman added an assist on the clinching goal from sophomore
Meghan Moran (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) in the 75th minute.

Jacquelyn Mancini (Valley Stream, N.Y.) made five saves to earn the win for the Knights. Sage sophomore keeper Teagan Waddingham (Coeymans Hollow, N.Y.) made 13 saves for the Gators.
Robe, with 10 goals in the team's last four games, now has 24 tallies on the year and has tied Kelly Vail's school record for goals in a season, set back in 1999.
Mount Saint Mary completes Skyline play on Sunday with a trip to NYU-Poly. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start at the Aviator Sports and Events Center in Brooklyn.
