FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Mount Saint Mary College men's lacrosse team dropped a 21-1 decision to Farmingdale State College on Saturday. The Knights are 2-8 overall on the season and 0-1 in Skyline play. The win evens the Rams record at 4-4 overall and moves them to 1-0 in Skyline play. 

Ryan Oswald tallied four of the Rams first quarter goals and the Rams quickly jumped out to a 6-0 lead. Farmingdale held the Mount scoreless through the first half of play and limited the Knights to just one shot on the half. An eight goal second quarter by the Rams pushed their lead to 14-0 at the half. 

Seven straight second half goals by the Rams gave them a 21-0 with just under eight minutes remaining in the game. Sophomore #Andrew Pullen# (Farmingdale, N.Y.) got the Knights on the board at the 4:33 mark when he scored off a feed from freshman #Stephen White# (Schenectady, N.Y.). 

White grabbed five groundballs in addition to dishing out one assist. Freshman #Matt Buonocore finished with five groundballs and four caused turnovers. Freshman goalkeeper #Shawn Cobstill# (Oneonta, N.Y.) tallied 13 saves in the loss. 

The Knights look to even their Skyline record when they play host to Maritime. The game is set for Monday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m.
