Box Score NEWBURGH, N.Y. – A nice all-around effort lead the Mount Saint Mary College women's basketball team past Purchase College, 59-38. The Knights won their fourth game in a row to move to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference. The Panthers fall to an even 3-3 on the season and 0-1 in Skyline play.

(Kingston, N.Y.) with 13:28 left in the first half put the Knights on top, 9-8. The Knights benefitted from 19 Panther turnovers and converted 21 points off turnovers in the first half alone.
Mount senior
Jen Mocanu (Belford, N.Y.) banked in a layup with four minute elapsed in the second half to extend their lead to 27, 41-14. The Knights used runs of 6-0 and 5-0 to put the Panthers away. Fifteen of the Mount's 25 second half points came from the bench.
Horvers led all scorers with 15 points and also added five steals. Mocanu chipped in with 14 points, junior

Natalie Garbie (Bayville, N.J.) each added five points. Senior
Kelly Dempsey (Hicksville, N.Y.) grabbed a team-high six rebounds.

Rachel Perrone scored a team-high eight points and senior Alyssa Guido chipped in with seven points.
Mount Saint Mary returns to action on December 3 in a Skyline Conference tilt at St. Joseph's College. The Knights will travel to Patchogue, N.Y. for a 3:00 p.m. game time.
