NEWBURGH, NY – The Mount Saint Mary College women's volleyball teamed eased to their second straight home victory on Tuesday evening, defeating Bard College in straight sets (25-16, 25-17, 25-17). The Blue Knights bumped up to 5-10 overall and 2-1 in the Skyline, while the Raptors fell to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

Freshman Courtney Kenney (Hicksville, N.Y.) led the team with nine kills. Freshman Teresa Sorrentino (Bellerose, N.Y.) had five kills and a match-high twenty digs while freshman Heather Schaeffer (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) had thirteen digs.

After one day off, the Blue Knights host SUNY Cobleskill on Thursday, October 2. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
