LONGMEADOW, MA – The Mount Saint Mary College women's soccer team cruised to their sixth straight win on Tuesday, defeating Bay Path College by a score of 3-0. The Blue Knights improved to 7-2 overall while the Wildcats dropped to 0-6-1.

Colleen Ryan (Point Lookout, N.Y.) launched a shot from 30 yards back after a deflected shot in the 34th minute of play.
The Blue Knights struck again in the 42nd minute off a cross by senior
Amy Ventimiglia (Patchogue, N.Y.) to freshman
Alexi Pascale (Monroe, N.Y.) who netted the ball from 25 yards back.
After the halftime break, Mount Saint Mary senior midfielder
Marissa Cannella (Cornwall, N.Y.) notched an insurance goal in the 63rd minute, with the assist being credited to junior
Danielle Bucco (Washingtonville, N.Y.). Cannella now has four goals on the season.

Jessica Thibault (Watertown, Conn.) notched the shutout, facing only two shots and making one save.
Bay Path's combined goal keeping team of junior Christine Hollingsworth (Lenox, Mass.) and junior Sam Gunseth (Swanzey, N.H.) had 16 saves while facing 36 shots.
The Blue Knights look to continue their winning streak this weekend as they head to Farmingdale State College. The matchup between two of the top teams in the Skyline Conference is set for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4.
