BRONX, NY – Behind a hat trick from junior
Lauren Dorsa (Massapequa Park, N.Y.), the Mount Saint Mary College women's soccer teamed rolled to a 7-1 victory over Maritime College on Saturday. The Blue Knights improved to 6-2 overall and to 3-0 in the Skyline Conference while the Privateers fell to 1-8 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Dorsa scored just 3:22 into the contest and then again at the 3:57 mark to give the Mount an early two-goal cushion. After allowing a goal on a free kick, junior
Danielle Bucco (Washingtonville, N.Y.) found the back of the net to make the score 3-1 just 11 minutes into the game.
The score remained 3-1 for the rest of the half and then the Blue Knights poured in two more goals in the opening ten minutes of the second half. Freshman
Erin McKeon (Watertown, Conn.) scored her fifth goal of the season in the 51st minute on a pass from Bucco. McKeon then assisted on Dorsa's third goal of the game, scored at the 53:08 mark.

Marissa Cannella (Cornwall, N.Y.) and freshman
Colleen Ryan (Point Lookout, N.Y.) also added goals down the stretch for the Blue Knights to make the final score 7-1. Freshman
Alexi Pascale (Monroe, N.Y.) and freshman
Sallie Wright (Horseheads, N.Y.) picked up assists on the final two goals.
Mount Saint Mary heads to Longmeadow, Massachusetts on Tuesday to take on Bay Path College. The game is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
