RENSSELAER, NY – Mount Saint Mary College freshman
Erin McKeon (Watertown, Conn.) scored an unassisted goal with just 2:20 remaining in regulation to propel the Blue Knights to a 1-0 victory over Sage in the Skyline Conference quarterfinals. Mount Saint Mary improves to 11-5-1 on the season and will take on top-seeded St. Joseph's College in the semifinals.
After dribbling past several defenders and being knocked down on the play, McKeon stuck with it and eventually beat the keeper for the game-winning goal. The win was the first playoff win for the Blue Knights in program history

Megan Cotta (Wall, N.J.) made six saves and picked up the victory for the fifth-seeded Blue Knights.
The semifinal against St. Joseph's College will be held at Diamond in the Pines in Coram, N.Y. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start on Friday, November 7.
