TROY, NY – Sage junior Krystal Cozzens (Cohoes, N.Y.) scored the only goal of the game on Saturday as the Gators held on to defeat Mount Saint Mary College in Skyline Conference women's soccer action. Sage improved to 5-4-1 overall and to 3-1 in the conference while the Blue Knights dropped to 7-4 overall and to 3-2 in the conference.

The lone goal came in the 16th minute as Cozzens found the back of the net following a corner kick for the Gators.

Sage outshot the Mount, 19-12, on the afternoon. Senior Jessica Thibault (Watertown, Conn.) made seven saves in the loss for the Blue Knights while freshman Sarah Fink (Maryland, N.Y.) made six saves and picked up the victory for Sage.

Mount Saint Mary returns to action this Wednesday when they host City College of New York. The non-conference game is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start on Kaplan Field.
