Newburgh, N.Y. - Every player on the active roster scored at least three points Tuesday night, as the Mount Saint Mary College women's basketball team defeater Yeshiva University by a score of 83-33. The Blue Knights improve to 3-0 on the year and 1-0 in the Skyline Conference. Yeshiva is now 1-2 and 0-1 in the league.
Junior Meredith Paggi (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) led all scorers in the game with 13 points. She also had 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Sophomore Gianna Cesa (Hillsdale, N.J.) connected on three of four attempts from long range and also hit a two-pointer for 11 total points. Senior Jackie Markert (Voorheesville, N.Y.), fresh off being named the Skyline Player of the Week, contributed 8 points and 8 rebounds.
For Yeshiva, Lisa Ogorek (Lawrence, N.Y.) led the way with 10 points.
Up next for Mount Saint Mary is a road trip to non-conference foe, Montclair State. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27 in Montclair, N.J.
