Junior Lauren Becerra took first place in three-out-of-four events in the Knights' first dual-meet of the season on Saturday. She helped fuel the Knights to victory over Drew University with first-place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle (2:05.41) and the 100-yard freestyle (58.44). She swam the fourth leg of the women's 400-yard freestyle relay, which the Knights finished in 3:57.45 to take first place. She also took second in the 200-yard IM, finishing in 2:27.67, trailing Drew's Lindsay Pearce by just 0.37. The two-time Skyline Women's Swimmer of the Year is off to a strong start once again, looking to make it a three-peat as the conference's best swimmer.
The Knights will next swim on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Kings College (Pa.) in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
