Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Junior guard Lauren Romao averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in a 1-1 week for the Knights. She scored a team-high 19 points in Wednesday's loss to the College of Mount Saint Vincent and stole the ball four times. She played an integral role in earning the team's first win of the season on Saturday against St. Joseph's College (L.I.), scoring 12 points, grabbed seven boards and dishing out six assists to fill up the stat sheet. Romao is averaging 11.6 points and 2.4 assists per game on the season.

The Knights return to action on Monday, Jan. 20, when they host NYU-Poly for a 7:00 p.m. Skyline Conference matchup.
